The space:

The Moonlight Market will provide each sidewalk vendor with a 10 foot by 10 foot square space chalked and numbered the day of the event. We do not allow for reserving spaces, and your space may change from month to month to best accommodate the layout of the entire market.

The Moonlight Market does not provide tents, tables, chairs, lighting or electric access. Please bring your own tables, chairs, tents and outdoor battery-powered lighting for evening hours. We encourage as elaborative of a setup and decor as you can accommodate, as it helps to create a more vibrant experience and increases individual vendor sales to have an attractive display.

Vendor Exclusions:

At this point in time we are not looking for food trucks or food carts. We are also not accepting direct-sales, resellers, sales reps or franchise vendors.

A few requirements:

We require all sidewalk vendors to remain setup for the full event hours from 6pm to 11pm. Closing early or arriving late without advance prior notice may disqualify your business from future participation.

A deposit/set-up fee of $30 is required per vendor, per market for sidewalk spaces. The deposit/set-up fee for retail trucks parked at meters is $60 per metered space (this covers meter bagging permits and fees with the City of Columbus). We’ll also need your State Tax ID or Vendor License Number in order for you to participate in the Moonlight Market.

All participating vendors are required to sign an agreement that releases the Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District from all liability. We also recommend that market vendors carry their own liability insurance. Also, all food vendors not selling pre-packaged goods/items are required to carry a temporary health permit from the city. If you are serving food, please be sure to check out this handy list and temporary food licensing application.

The Moonlight Market is a monthly outdoor street festival / marketplace on Gay Street in Downtown Columbus. It takes place every Second Saturday from April through October. The event draws thousands of visitors each month to enjoy the brick-and-mortar businesses in the area who stay open late with extended hours and special promotions, this site in addition to over 100 sidewalk vendors who pop-up to sell a wide variety of artisan products. Street musicians add musical ambiance and sidewalk patios come alive with al fresco diners. Mark your calendar and join us at the next Moonlight Market on Gay Street!

The Moonlight Market was founded by the Gay Street Collaborative (GSC) non-profit business association in 2013. The GSC is a collective of local business owners who want to showcase the vibrancy and energy of Downtown Columbus and promote the diverse range of businesses that call the Gay Street area home. The Moonlight Market serves as a fundraiser for the GSC and your support of the event helps to boost the small business economy Downtown.

The space:

The Moonlight Market will provide each sidewalk vendor with a 10 foot by 10 foot square space chalked and numbered the day of the event. We do not allow for reserving spaces, and your space may change from month to month to best accommodate the layout of the entire market.

The Moonlight Market does not provide tents, tables, chairs, lighting or electric access. Please bring your own tables, chairs, tents and outdoor battery-powered lighting for evening hours. We encourage as elaborative of a setup and decor as you can accommodate, as it helps to create a more vibrant experience and increases individual vendor sales to have an attractive display.

Vendor Exclusions:

At this point in time we are not looking for food trucks or food carts. We are also not accepting direct-sales, resellers, sales reps or franchise vendors.

A few requirements:

We require all sidewalk vendors to remain setup for the full event hours from 6pm to 11pm. Closing early or arriving late without advance prior notice may disqualify your business from future participation.

A deposit/set-up fee of $30 is required per vendor, per market for sidewalk spaces. The deposit/set-up fee for retail trucks parked at meters is $60 per metered space (this covers meter bagging permits and fees with the City of Columbus). We’ll also need your State Tax ID or Vendor License Number in order for you to participate in the Moonlight Market.

All participating vendors are required to sign an agreement that releases the Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District from all liability. We also recommend that market vendors carry their own liability insurance. Also, all food vendors not selling pre-packaged goods/items are required to carry a temporary health permit from the city. If you are serving food, please be sure to check out this handy list and temporary food licensing application.

The Moonlight Market is a monthly outdoor street festival / marketplace on Gay Street in Downtown Columbus. It takes place every Second Saturday from April through October. The event draws thousands of visitors each month to enjoy the brick-and-mortar businesses in the area who stay open late with extended hours and special promotions, this site in addition to over 100 sidewalk vendors who pop-up to sell a wide variety of artisan products. Street musicians add musical ambiance and sidewalk patios come alive with al fresco diners. Mark your calendar and join us at the next Moonlight Market on Gay Street!

The Moonlight Market was founded by the Gay Street Collaborative (GSC) non-profit business association in 2013. The GSC is a collective of local business owners who want to showcase the vibrancy and energy of Downtown Columbus and promote the diverse range of businesses that call the Gay Street area home. The Moonlight Market serves as a fundraiser for the GSC and your support of the event helps to boost the small business economy Downtown.

The Moonlight Market does not provide tents, tables, chairs, lighting or electric access. Please bring your own tables, chairs, tents and outdoor battery-powered lighting for evening hours. We encourage as elaborative of a setup and decor as you can accommodate, as it helps to create a more vibrant experience and increases individual vendor sales to have an attractive display.

Vendor Exclusions:

At this point in time we are not looking for food trucks or food carts. We are also not accepting direct-sales, resellers, sales reps or franchise vendors.

A few requirements:

We require all sidewalk vendors to remain setup for the full event hours from 6pm to 11pm. Closing early or arriving late without advance prior notice may disqualify your business from future participation.

A deposit/set-up fee of $30 is required per vendor, per market for sidewalk spaces. The deposit/set-up fee for retail trucks parked at meters is $60 per metered space (this covers meter bagging permits and fees with the City of Columbus). We’ll also need your State Tax ID or Vendor License Number in order for you to participate in the Moonlight Market.

All participating vendors are required to sign an agreement that releases the Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District from all liability. We also recommend that market vendors carry their own liability insurance. Also, all food vendors not selling pre-packaged goods/items are required to carry a temporary health permit from the city. Interested in becoming a vendor?

Here’s what you need to know. In order to be considered for a sidewalk space at the Moonlight Market, ailment you need to get started by filling out the below form application. Once your application has been reviewed, more about we’ll get in touch with you regarding details about the Market. (Usually within 48 hours.)

The space:

The Moonlight Market will provide each sidewalk vendor with a 10 foot by 10 foot square space chalked and numbered the day of the event. We do not allow for reserving spaces, and your space may change from month to month to best accommodate the layout of the entire market.

The Moonlight Market does not provide tents, tables, chairs, lighting or electric access. Please bring your own tables, chairs, tents and outdoor battery-powered lighting for evening hours. We encourage as elaborative of a setup and decor as you can accommodate, as it helps to create a more vibrant experience and increases individual vendor sales to have an attractive display.

Vendor Exclusions:

At this point in time we are not looking for food trucks or food carts. We are also not accepting direct-sales, resellers, sales reps or franchise vendors.

A few requirements:

We require all sidewalk vendors to remain setup for the full event hours from 6pm to 11pm. Closing early or arriving late without advance prior notice may disqualify your business from future participation.

A deposit/set-up fee of $30 is required per vendor, per market for sidewalk spaces. The deposit/set-up fee for retail trucks parked at meters is $60 per metered space (this covers meter bagging permits and fees with the City of Columbus). We’ll also need your State Tax ID or Vendor License Number in order for you to participate in the Moonlight Market.

All participating vendors are required to sign an agreement that releases the Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District from all liability. We also recommend that market vendors carry their own liability insurance. Also, all food vendors not selling pre-packaged goods/items are required to carry a temporary health permit from the city. If you are serving food, please be sure to check out this handy list and temporary food licensing application.

The centralized location has easy access to many transit options, and including car-share, more about bike-share, multiple COTA bus routes as well as ample on-street public parking and private parking lots and garages within a short walk.

There are many dedicated U-shaped bike racks in front of Cafe Brioso in addition to a bike maintenance station. There are additional U-racks spread out throughout the district. Please keep your bikes out of the public walk way as much as possible, for the safety of your bike as well as the safety of others.
