Interested in becoming a vendor?
Here’s what you need to know. In order to be considered for a sidewalk space at the Moonlight Market, you need to get started by filling out the below form application. Once your application has been reviewed, we’ll get in touch with you regarding details about the Market. (Usually within 48 hours.)
The Moonlight Market will provide each sidewalk vendor with a 10 foot by 10 foot square space chalked and numbered the day of the event. We do not allow for reserving spaces, and your space may change from month to month to best accommodate the layout of the entire market.
The Moonlight Market does not provide tents, tables, chairs, lighting or electric access. Please bring your own tables, chairs, tents and outdoor battery-powered lighting for evening hours. We encourage as elaborative of a setup and decor as you can accommodate, as it helps to create a more vibrant experience and increases individual vendor sales to have an attractive display.
At this point in time we are not looking for food trucks or food carts. We are also not accepting direct-sales, resellers, sales reps or franchise vendors.
A few requirements:
We require all sidewalk vendors to remain setup for the full event hours from 6pm to 11pm. Closing early or arriving late without advance prior notice may disqualify your business from future participation.
A deposit/set-up fee of $30 is required per vendor, per market for sidewalk spaces. The deposit/set-up fee for retail trucks parked at meters is $60 per metered space (this covers meter bagging permits and fees with the City of Columbus). We’ll also need your State Tax ID or Vendor License Number in order for you to participate in the Moonlight Market.
All participating vendors are required to sign an agreement that releases the Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District from all liability. We also recommend that market vendors carry their own liability insurance. Also, all food vendors not selling pre-packaged goods/items are required to carry a temporary health permit from the city.
